At CEHRO India, we believe that clear vision is not a luxury—it’s a right. Vision is fundamental to a child’s ability to learn, grow, and fully participate in the world around them. In partnership with the Lenskart Foundation, our Pediatric Eye Check-up Program ensures children from underserved communities are no longer held back by lack of access to eye care.

The program conducted free eye screenings for 28,574 children across 14 government schools and 18 slum communities in New Delhi. Children diagnosed with vision impairments were provided free prescription glasses, eliminating a critical barrier to learning and development.

For many children, this was their first eye check-up. Struggling to see the blackboard or read books had become routine—until now. Equipped with glasses, these children began to see clearly, improving class participation, academic results, and confidence.
Vision impairment is a silent barrier. Children with unaddressed visual issues may appear disinterested or perform poorly, not due to lack of intelligence but simply because they can't see well. Correcting vision issues restores focus, motivation, and self-belief.
