Every year, CEHRO INDIA conducts its Annual Winter Drive to support underprivileged children by providing them with new winter clothes, jackets, and shoes. These children are among the most vulnerable during the harsh winter months, as cold weather affects them more severely than adults due to inadequate protection.
In 2024, the drive was named the “Choti Si Asha Campaign”, which means “a small hope” — a symbol of how even the simplest acts of kindness can create a big impact in the lives of children.
Our campaign goes beyond just warmth — it’s about preserving health, dignity, and opportunity. By protecting children from the cold, we help reduce winter-related illnesses, which in turn leads to better school attendance and improved academic performance.
Through this initiative, we aim to ensure that no child misses out on learning simply because they lack basic winter essentials. With your support, we can bring comfort, confidence, and continuity in education to thousands of children across India.
This year’s drive, titled *Chhoti Si Asha* (A Small Ray of Hope), embodies our goal of bringing warmth, dignity, and care to every child in need. By distributing new winter clothes to underprivileged children, we not only protect them from the cold but also uplift their spirits and affirm their worth.
So far, we have reached over 300 children across our community centers. The campaign is still ongoing, and we aim to support many more children in the coming weeks. Warm jackets, sweaters, caps, socks, and gloves are being distributed to ensure these kids can attend school and play outside without suffering from the cold.
