In this situation of crisis, CEHRO INDIA distributed essential groceries to 2800 adversely affected daily wage labourers families who have No Work, No Food, No Pay due to recent lockdown enforced by the Govt owing to Covid-19 pandemic.

This ongoing lockdown has impact people nationwide, especially the daily wage workers who have lost their means of livelihood overnight such as Sanitation cleaners, waste pickers, domestic helpers, street vendors including some beggars, as there is no work, no food and no pay.

With the call of lockdown, though the Delhi government have made immediate announcement of monetary aids and supply of food to such vulnerable category of people but from our team survey, we found many of such people at various slums slept hungry as the supply of meal or other essentials could not reach to them.

Amidst this critical situation, we CEHRO INDIA team come forward to help the needy who have no means of livelihood at present. We have started the great noble work by joining hands with "Feeding INDIA"and also by the support of generous donors, has pledged to go and extra-mile to distribute grocery, healthy food stuff materials to souls-in-distress since 24th of March, 2020 methodically who have been adversely affected during this corona virus lockdown period.

Team CEHRO INDIA everyday target is to provide rations door to door at least 100 to 120 families or more. As per target our team is working effortlessly in providing dry ration kits to souls-in- distress everyday.

During the first phase of 21 days Covid-19 lockdown until 14th April, 2020, our team able to reach out to 2800 daily wage earners families by distributing 2800 dry ration kits for a family of 5 to 6 members about a week which includes flour, rice, pulses, potatoes, onions, salt and oil at 17 different slums both in Delhi and Lucknow. These families we are helping are not even a ration card holder.

In the 2nd Phase of lockdown since 15th April, 2020, with the support of many donors we are still continuing our distributions to needy people at various slums.

02) 205 families at Singhi Basti Slum, Mahipalpur, Delhi.

03) 300 families at Arjun Camp Slum,Mahipalpu, Delhi.

04) 110 families at Kuli Camp Slum,Vasant Vihar, Delhi.

05) 110 families in a very interior slum at Vasant Kunj, Delhi.

06) 110 families at Kusumpur Pahadi Slum, Vasant Vihar, Delhi

07) 115 family at Aurangabad Khalsa Slum Colony at Lucknow.

08) 130 families at Dalit Ekta Camp Slum, Delhi

09) 120 families at Masjid Compound Slum, Delhi

10) 300 families at Karawal Nagar Slum, Delhi

11) 150 families at Kishan ghar slum,Delhi

12) 160 families at Mahipal Slum, Delhi

13) 120 families at Brahampuri slum, Delhi

14) 130 families at Shahdara, Delhi

15) 73 families at Bhanwar Singh Camp Slum Vasant Vihar, Delhi.

16) 117 families at Ber Sarai, Delhi.

17) 100 families at Chhatarpur, Delhi.

Total number of beneficiary = 2800 families.(First Phase of Covid-19 lockdown) Total Slums Covered = 17 Slums

CEHRO INDIA resolved is inspired by our responsibility towards society and empowered by people who support and stand by us for this genuine cause.

This lockdown is still on process, the longer the lockdown, the more badly is affecting the daily wage earners who lives day to day during normal days. Without livelihood,life itself matters less.

Presently, our target is to provide continuous support with rations to 5000 such more needy people for the next few weeks as they are living in scarcity, have no other options to pay for food and survive. Team CEHRO INDIA is striving hard to solve their issue of food scarcity, hunger and starvation and we will stand with them in their tough time in the upcoming days.

Here we also request and make an appeal to everyone, as citizens, it is time to come forward and make a difference.

CEHRO INDIA ensure 1 month of assured Food & Ration makes sure no people-in-distress goes to sleep hungry during the lockdown period.
