Underprivileged Slum Children living at Singhi Basti and Arjun Camp, Mahipalpur, New Delhi fight with poverty and helplessness to meet their basic requirements or amenities of day to day life. From CEHRO INDIA team observation, it became routine of the poor children life that after getting up in the morning, they either beg or collect garbage for the entire day. They even do not have proper clothes on their full body; some only wore torn t-shirt on their upper body while some do not have anything on their lower part. This is how the poor children are living their life with the crisis of food, clothes and shelter.

CEHRO INDIA took initiative to be a helping hand for such needy slum children. Responsenet with the support of Sone Ki Chidiya play a significant role to make CEHRO INDIA efforts possible with their invaluable support. We tried to brought colors to the colorless life of such helpless children of Singhi Basti and Arjun Camp of Mahipalpur, New Delhi.

CEHRO INDIA, gave winter clothes to 530 slum children. Getting the clothes, the children got so happy and we can see that happiness in their eyes also. They changed clothes to new ones and shouted to one other with full of happiness that “I got a new warm jacket”. The Team CEHRO INDIA also got happy to see the big smile on the faces of the disadvantaged children.
